Decision making in animal groups

Abstract: Social animals learn and decide in groups. I will describe a natural extension of the theory of decision-making to the case of animal groups and compare it against experimental data. I will also describe a new tracking system that can follow animals in groups and how it can give new types of data. Finally, I will briefly discuss ways in which we can combine these behavioral studies with studies of neuronal circuits
